How do I schedule a photoshoot/video shoot/virtual tour appointment?
Easy! Give us a call or create an account online through our client portal. From your account dashboard, you can select an open time to schedule a service on our interactive project calendar.
How soon can I schedule an appointment?
Appointments for all services can usually be scheduled just outside of 48 hours. This time may vary depending upon seasonal traffic and equipment availability.
How do I reschedule or cancel an appointment?
You can give us a call or change your appointment status online from the project calendar on your account's dashboard. As long as appointments are rescheduled/canceled more than 12 hours from the scheduled time, there are no fees involved.
What if it rains or snows on the day of my appointment?
We do not charge fees to reschedule or cancel appointments for poor weather conditions. If you need your product fast, we can still shoot the interior at the time of appointment and send out a photographer on another day to capture the exterior (this can still result in weak or inconsistent lighting).
Can you do weekend photoshoots?
Our regular business hours are 9AM-6PM, Monday through Friday, but we can offer photography services on weekends if there is available staff. Please note there is a $50 fee for weekend shoots.
When will my photos/video/virtual tour be ready?
We turn around photos on the next business day within 24 hours of the shoot, which is usually the following morning. Videos and virtual tours are delivered within 48 hours of capture.
How are my images/video/virtual tours delivered?
Once your product is completed, it will be uploaded to our client portal where you can log into your account and easily download all files as many times as needed. We host all files for 12 months; please view our 'Terms of Service' for more information regarding usage permissions.
Can you upload photos/video/virtual tours for me?
We currently do not offer to upload files for you, but please reach out to us with questions, and we will assist as we are able. Through our client portal, you are given access to all files for download in both full resolution and MLS formatting.
Do you charge travel fees?
We serve the greater Kansas City area and do not charge travel fees for service within that area or within a 25-mile radius of our office, currently located in Lee's Summit, MO.
Do I need to be present for appointments?
For standard property services, clients do not need to present during appointments. Our photographer will require access to the property, but can efficiently perform tasks outside of client presence.
How long does an appointment normally last?
Most photo shoots take an hour, which varies depending on the shot list and property square footage. Videos can take anywhere from two to five hours, depending on the length and coverage of the video. Virtual tours can take 30 minutes or up to two hours, depending on the square footage.
What should I do to prepare for an appointment?
Glad you asked! You can review the guides below to make your property shine its best when our photographers arrive.
Basically, make sure the property is clean and clutter-free; the condition needs to be as a prospective buyer would expect when moving in. Properties are shot as-is for our Express packages, and we perform minimal staging in our Luxury packages.
Do you offer HDR photography?
Yes we do! We do not typically capture all images in HDR unless requested, as HDR looks great for exteriors but in some instances can appear oversaturated for interiors.
What kind of lighting do you use?
Natural sunlight is our primary source of lighting to create the most inviting and realistic imagery. As needed, we carry studio lighting to highlight areas hidden from sunlight and to prevent hard shadow edges that flash photography can create. Camera mounted flash photography is always the last resort and not our preferred method.
Do you take agent/seller headshots for my website/brochure?
Yes we do! We offer headshot photography, video interviews, and complete seller-guided walkthroughs.
Do you make brochures or flyers for properties?
Yes we do! Once your property is shot, we always offer brochures and flyers for you to choose from. These are printed and shipped straight to your office or doorstep.
How do I pay/when is my payment due?
Payment is due upon receipt of invoice. Invoices are sent out upon delivery of images. For some services such as video, a downpayment of 50% is required before services can be rendered. We accept checks, credit cards, and debit cards made payable to Look Media International LLC.
